Existing While Black

What does it feel like when every move you make is policed?

This isn’t new. It happens every day. HuffPost asked Black readers to share their stories of being profiled, discriminated and humiliated.

They described moments where people called the police on them for no apparent reason aside from their race. Recalled scenarios of cops stopping and searching them because their skin colour made them look “suspicious.”

My role in this project was to create the visual hero assets through a process of manual distortion and to work closely with another designer and design the interaction through the stories and how the user would navigate them.
